Join the local film industry for this glam red carpet event at the Vancouver Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront that benefits Women In Film & Television. Featuring a full red-carpet experience, a silent auction, and a three-course dinner, the event will keep film buffs on their toes with a contest around Best Picture (10 winners will take home bragging rights and prizes). Festivities kick off with a pre-show reception and there will be plenty of champagne.

If you want to enjoy the Oscars with a burger and beer, Bells and Whistles is the spot for you. This East Van viewing party is co-hosted by Beatroute Magazine, and features a big screen, surround sound, and fun activities like a paparazzi-inspired photo booth, and prizes for top predictions and best-dressed attendees. Partial proceeds from the event go to the BC Hospitality Foundation.

It’s become an annual tradition! This laid back red carpet event kicks off at 3 pm and features Oscar bingo, drink specials (margaritas, anyone?), and prizes for those who show up in their fanciest gear. No tickets necessary, but we recommend showing up on time to get a spot and enjoy some of Vancouver’s best tacos.

True to its name, The Donnelly Group’s Cinema Public House is back with their annual downtown viewing party. Catch the Academy Awards on big screens while enjoying a delicious three-course menu and feature cocktails. Past events have featured prizes, a red carpet photo wall and more. Reservations required.
