Is it possible to check in after reception hours?

Yes, if you think you will arrive after reception hours (after 5:00 pm) please let our staff know in advance so we can arrange a late check in for you.

How do I get there from YVR Airport by public transportation? 

Once through the customs and immigration process, walk toward the exit to our International Arrivals Area. Exit the building following the signs marked Canada Line. Before the parking entrance, an escalator and elevator will take you up to the Canada Line platform.  Take the Canada Line SkyTrain towards Waterfront, and get off at Vancouver City Centre Station (11th stop). Head southeast on W Georgia St toward Seymour St continue walking in this direction another block till you reach Richards St (you can see the Holy Rosary Cathedral), and turn left onto Richards St. Our building is on the left. Travel time is around 45 minutes.

Do we have private parking?

We do not have private parking. We recommend the Pacific Centre EasyPark Lot 27 parking lot which is open 24/7. For your own safety, it is important not to leave any valuables or luggage inside your vehicle. More information is available on their website.

Do private rooms have private bathrooms?

The bathrooms are shared ones. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 showers on every floor and a sink inside every room.

Do we have Wi-Fi?

Yes, Wi-Fi is free. Works well in our common areas.

Do we offer weekly discounts?

Yes, we offer 10% discount on bookings for a week or more / minimum 7 consecutive days (low season only - winter time). Please choose weekly rates option when making a reservation.

Do we offer group discounts?

Yes, we offer 10% discount on bookings for groups of 12 people or more staying a minimum of 3 nights. This offer is valid for phone and email bookings only. Please contact us to check for availability.

What is our Cancellation Policy?

You can cancel a reservation free of charge until 2 days before arrival (48 hours in advance). However, you will be charged the first night if you choose to cancel outside of the cancellation period.

Do we offer luggage storage?

We offer luggage storage for a few hours (the same day from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm) for guests who register before 3:00 pm (while their room is ready) or for guests who leave in the morning and return later to pick up their luggage (same day). Sorry, we DO NOT store luggage for any guest who already is no longer staying with us.

Is there a lift (elevator) or wheelchair access?

The St Clair Hotel-Hostel is a HERITAGE building and does not have a lift or wheelchair access. To get in you must go up one floor.
